A facade, that’s what busy is sometimes. People working and looking busy while actually not achieving anything of value. Then going home thinking that they have done something, while in reality they have achieved nothing. A mirage, is what it is. An illusion, is what it is.
This particular busy, for a lack of a better word, is movement. For lack of a better word, because it’s actually not movement. When you say movement you would imagine that something is moving. But not here.
It would be movement if it is towards a goal, a value, something that upon completion adds to the whole. Something that builds layer upon layer the structure of a desired outcome. Something that gets you closer to that desired outcome.
But running around aimlessly, no matter how serious and focused you look in the process of doing so, does not mean you are actually advancing towards something of value. That look is phony. It’s a facade and it is of dark nature. It is something that wastes energy and time. Looks can be deceiving.
